Networking Resources

The importance of finding support in the form of a mentor and network cannot be overstated. Your experience as a Navy spouse is dynamic; as soon as you get comfortable and build relationships in one location, it's time to move again. To support you throughout your Navy journey, there are numerous resources to welcome you and your family to new commands and to new locations.
Naval Services FamilyLine is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization. Their mission is to empower sea service families with education, resources, and mentoring. The "By Spouses, for Spouses" courses and resources provide an online and in-person forum to dispel myths, answer questions, and alleviate concerns.

Ombudsman Program

The Ombudsman is a volunteer, appointed by the commanding officer, to serve as an information link between command leadership and Navy families. The Navy Family Ombudsman Program promotes healthy, self-reliant families.
